Neuroimaging techniques, in less than two decades, have provided a window of opportunity to better comprehend the complex infrastructure and activity of the human brain. These techniques have also permitted deeper insights into human pathologies and have enabled major advances across diverse scientific disciplines. This section of the website will first present the latest neuro-scientific research primarily pertaining to ADHD. It will then progress to discuss the essentiality of specific brain selective nutrients and their role in neurodevelopment. The final section presents some of what we know so far in relation to the potential implications of nutritional deficiencies in the brain. In addition to providing a discussion of the current status of children’s’ diets both at home and school and how this may be impacting their physical and mental health.
